Am I the only one who thinks Car post commenters are the worst?

Am I the only one to notice how a lot of people just constantly insult new cars?

For example, taken from Top Gear's facebook photo for the new Audi TT:

"did the designer give up after the front end?"
"Dull, fat, podgy, predictable, and no doubt driven by a tosser."
"It used to look like a woman's car... now it looks like a transexual."
"looks gay"


and I can't even count how many times a new car has been revealed and people say "it looks like x, copycat"

A lot of design is derivative.

A lot of thought and commentary is the same.

That being said, I usually dislike Honda design. Until the next one comes out. Nostalgia or something. I definitely like some more than others, but as a rule, they all grow on me. I imagine it's this way for a lot of folks.

I use Honda as an example. When I think of "design" they don't generally come to mind.

It's ok to not like a car. It's ok to say its got a bad design.

Looks gay is not ok. There's nothing even remotely constructive being said there. This car doesn't look like Ellen Degeneres.

I don't really mind it, I think it look nice. They should say one thing positive, and one thing negative for commentating or something like that.
